Convert Username to Customer Code for Woocommerce allows you to convert the username function to a customer code. The plugin has the ability to generate a 6-digit code when a customer registers on your woocommerce site.
What does it do?
When a customer registers on your woocommerce site, they are normally required to choose a username and enter an email address.
With this plugin, the username field will disappear, and the customer will only need to enter their email address and name and surname.
After registration, the plugin will generate a random 6-digit code, which will be automatically inserted in place of the username.
With this code, the customer can also log in.
Therefore, in addition to adding the name and surname fields (which woocommerce does not offer during registration),
the plugin will automatically assign them during the checkout process (which woocommerce normally requires you to fill in).
Additionally, the plugin will also replace the welcome message with the customer's name (which woocommerce normally associates with the username),
and will also replace the username in the customer name when they leave a product review.
Furthermore, the customer code is added to all sections in the customer's account area.
In the WordPress control panel, the customer code is also added to the order summary and order edit section in woocommerce, ideal for tracking.
It is also added to the new woocommerce native panel in the customers section, where you can extract all orders received in excel.
The plugin also allows you to disable some functions that may not interest the developer (located in Woocommerce/Settings/Customer Code).
Basically, the plugin uses the username functionality, which is not useful in an ecommerce context, and more importantly, does not show any concern for the customer during registration, ordering, or browsing their account area.
Notes:
The plugin requires Woocommerce.
Make sure that the flag (in the section WOOCOMMERCE/SETTINGS/ACCOUNT AND PRIVACY) is set to "Account creation generates a username for the customer, based on their last name, first name or email address."
It is strongly recommended to activate the plugin on a newly established ecommerce site, as the customer code is generated only for new user registrations and not for those registered before the plugin installation.
However, it is possible to change the customer code individually on the user edit page.

Convert Username to Customer Code for Woocommerce ti permette di convertire la funzione username in codice cliente. Il plugin ha la funzionalità di generare un codice di 6 cifre nel momento in cui un cliente si registra al tuo woocommerce.
Che cosa permette di fare?
Quando un cliente si registra al tuo woocommerce, in modo nativo è obbligato a scegliere un username ed inserire una email.
Con questo plugin, il campo username sparirà, ed il cliente dovrà solo inserire la sua email ed il nome e cognome.
Una volta registrato, il plugin genererà un codice di 6 cifre random, che verrà inserito automaticamente al posto dell’username.
Con questo codice, se vorrà potrà anche accedervi.
Quindi il plugin, oltre ad aver inserito i campi nome e cognome (che in modo nativo woocommerce non offre in fase di registrazione),
automaticamente questi li attribuirà in fase di fatturazione in checkout (che in modo nativo woocommerce richiede di ricompilare).
Inoltre il plugin automaticamente va a sostituire nella dashboard del cliente anche il benvenuto con il suo proprio nome (che in modo nativo woocommerce gli abbina l’username),
e sostituirà anche l’username nel nome del cliente quando andrà a fare recensioni sul prodotto.
Inoltre viene aggiunto anche il codice cliente in tutte le sezioni dell’area riservata del cliente.
Nel pannello di controllo di wordpress, il codice cliente viene aggiunto anche nel riepilogo degli ordini e in modifica ordine di woocommerce, ottimo per una tracciabilità.
Inoltre viene anche inserito nel nuovo pannello nativo di woocommerce nella sezione clienti, dove poter estrapolare in excel tutti gli ordini ricevuti.
Il plugin permette di disabilitare anche alcune funzioni che non potrebbero interessare allo sviluppatore (situato nella sezione Woocommerce/Impostazioni/Codice Cliente).
Sostanzialmente il plugin sfrutta la funzionalità dell’username, che in un ecommerce non servirebbe a nulla e ancor meglio, non darebbe un occhio di riguardo al cliente, sia in fase di registrazione, sia in fase di ordine, sia in fase di navigazione
nella propria area riservata.
Note:
Il plugin richiede Woocommerce.
Assicurarsi che ci sia il flag (nella sezione WOOCOMMERCE/IMPOSTAZIONI/ACCOUNT-E-PRIVACY) su “La creazione di un account comporta automaticamente la generazione di un nome utente dell’account per il cliente, in base al suo cognome, nome o all’e-mail”
SI CONSIGLIA VIVAMENTE DI AVVIARE IL PLUGIN SU UN ECOMMERCE APPENA ATTIVO IN QUANTO IL CODICE CLIENTE VIENE GENERATO SULLE NUOVE REGISTRAZIONI DEGLI UTENTI, E NON SU QUELLE REGISTRATE IN PRECEDENZA PRIMA DEL’INSTALLAZIONE DEL PLUGIN.
E’ COMUNQUE POSSIBILE MODIFICARE IL CODICE CLIENTE SINGOLARMENTE NELLA PAGINA DI MODIFICA UTENTE.

- 方法一：點下方版本號的連結下載 ZIP 檔案後，登入網站後台左側選單「外掛」的「安裝外掛」，然後選擇上方的「上傳外掛」，把下載回去的 ZIP 外掛打包檔案上傳上去安裝與啟用。
