Clownsteins Rogue Agent Defender protects your site from external attacks that rely on hosted AI.
Outside agents use frontier models to decide how to attack a site and to interpret what they find there. Claude, GPT, Gemini, and the other frontier models are reachable only through their providers’ APIs. This plugin blocks the inference providers you select, so those calls are refused. The block covers wp_remote_* and the other WordPress HTTP API functions. A program that opens its own connection needs a firewall, proxy, or DNS rule.
The plugin also refuses selected AI crawlers that try to read the site. The user-agent check returns 403 when a request header contains a selected token that the operator sends as a user agent. Google-Extended and Applebot-Extended are robots.txt tokens only, because those names are never sent as a User-Agent. Requests for the site’s robots.txt address are not blocked.
The robots.txt option adds one Disallow group to the robots.txt file WordPress generates. A robots.txt file already stored in the web root is left unchanged.
