Aruba WordPress Migration Tool is a plugin that lets you transfer a WordPress website and database from one webspace to another one managed by Aruba.
Using this tool allows you to save time and perform the transfer securely and automatically. The plugin is used by entering a token, generated in the Aruba Hosting customer area.
Activating the Aruba WordPress Migration Tool will create a backup of content on your Aruba Hosting platform before deleting it to make space for the WordPress site that has been migrated.
Before continuing, please check that there is nothing on the WordPress website being transferred that could impede migration, for example:
Visualization errors
DNS problems
Login security measures (e.g. 2 factor authentication)
Personalized WordPress login pages

The plugin uses Aruba API to comunicate with internal Migration services to transfer data via secure channel from external hosted site to Aruba hosting.
WPorchestrator in an initial phase verifies a token for validation of the data transfer, after which a backup of the site is created locally, which is passed to the WPorchestrator which uploads it to the S3 storage, at the end of the export, again the orchestrator moves the installation to the Aruba servers, all this is done in https and automatically.
