AOS Quick Action Bar is a floating widget system for WordPress that lets you create one or more trigger buttons on the side or bottom of the screen. Each trigger button opens a customisable panel containing a grid of action items — links, phone numbers, forms, or any URL.
Unlike simple link bars or social button plugins, each button group in this plugin has its own expandable panel with configurable layout, background, grid columns, and item cards. All settings are reflected in a live admin preview without saving.
What makes it different
Expandable panel architecture — trigger buttons open a configurable grid panel, not just a link list
Live admin preview — desktop and mobile view update in real time as you change settings
Anonymous click tracking — built-in GDPR-compliant statistics stored entirely in your own database
Two layout modes — floating side widget or full-width horizontal bottom bar
Per-group panel control — each group has its own background colour, opacity, column count, and spacing
All features
Multiple button groups, each with an independent expandable panel
5 button animations: Pulse Ring, Bounce, Shake, Glow, or None
Gradient backgrounds with angle control, per button and per item
Notification dot to highlight specific trigger buttons
30+ built-in icons from the Feather set — no icon font loaded
Responsive: show or hide below a custom mobile breakpoint
Fully accessible: ARIA attributes, keyboard navigation, focus management
No jQuery, no external CSS file — minimal frontend footprint
4 ready-made presets to get started quickly
Typical use cases
Contact shortcuts: a trigger button opens a panel with phone, WhatsApp, and email — reachable from any scroll depth
Quote and booking links: keep a “Request a quote” or “Book an appointment” action visible on every page
Support widget: combine WhatsApp chat, support email, and phone hours in one expandable panel
Download or signup CTA: surface a primary action without relying on the header
Link collection: any combination of URLs organised in a grid panel
How it works
Go to Settings → Quick Action Bar in your WordPress dashboard
Load a preset or add button groups from scratch
Configure each trigger button: icon, colours, gradient, size, animation
Set up the expandable panel: layout, background colour, grid columns, items
Enable the plugin and save — the bar appears on your site immediately
GDPR / Privacy
The optional click tracking stores only anonymous integer counts (total clicks per button) in your site’s own database. No personal data — no IP addresses, no cookies, no browser fingerprints. A ready-to-use privacy policy text template is included in the admin panel.
