External services
This plugin connects to the following third-party services when you enable the corresponding payment gateway:
Stripe — card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe when the Stripe gateway is enabled. Checkout data (amount, currency, and billing details you provide) is sent to stripe.com to create and confirm the payment. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
PayPal — payments are processed by PayPal when the PayPal gateway is enabled. Order and buyer details are sent to paypal.com to create and capture the transaction. See PayPal’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Neither service is contacted unless the corresponding gateway is enabled and used at checkout.
