Airgentic is an AI-powered chat and site search service that helps visitors find information and get cited answers.
This plugin loads the Airgentic script on your site and lets you choose how search and chat appear.
Features
Hover widget – Chat launcher on every page after you enter your Account ID and Service ID
Testing Mode – New installs show Airgentic only to logged-in WordPress users until you go live
Percentage rollout – Optionally show the floating chat widget to a subset of visitors
Service Hub – Full-width chat on selected pages via [airgentic_service_hub]
Inline Site Search – A dedicated search results page using [airgentic_search]
Overlay search – Optional popup search bound to an existing search field
WordPress search forms – Optional rewrite of the Search block, Search widget, and theme search form
No coding required – Configure everything under Settings → Airgentic
How It Works
Install and activate the plugin
Enter your Airgentic Account ID and Service ID (from your Airgentic dashboard)
Enable the widget on the front-end
Stay logged in and preview the live site (Testing Mode is on for new installs)
Turn Testing Mode off when you are ready for visitors
Optionally add [airgentic_service_hub] on pages that should show the full chat window
Optionally choose Inline search, create a Search page, and let the plugin point WordPress search forms at it
The plugin loads the Airgentic script on front-end pages (logged-in users only while Testing Mode is on). Service Hub and Site Search only appear where you place a shortcode (or matching HTML).

What is Airgentic?
Airgentic is a third-party AI service that powers the chat overlay and search provided by this plugin. The service is hosted at chat.airgentic.com and is required for the plugin to function.
What data is sent?
When visitors interact with the Airgentic widget, the following data is transmitted to chat.airgentic.com:
User chat queries and search terms
Page URL where the widget is loaded
Browser timezone
IP address
This plugin does not collect or transmit cookies of its own. Airgentic may set a first-party conversation cookie on your domain when persist-chat is enabled in the Airgentic dashboard.
When is data sent?
Data is sent to the Airgentic service when a visitor:
Opens the chat or search widget
Types in an Airgentic-enhanced search field (autocomplete)
Submits a search or a chat question
Clicks an example question in the Service Hub
Data is only transmitted when visitors interact with the widget.
