此外掛可移除「編輯文章」頁面上的作者欄位，包括自訂文章類型。對於單一作者的部落格來說，作者欄位是沒有太大的意義的，透過移除此欄位，您可以節省珍貴的畫面空間，並能夠使用其他相關的外掛，例如 [Simply Show Ids] (https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simply-show-ids/) 來顯示文章、分類、標籤等的 ID。

原文外掛簡介

Removes the author column on Edit Posts page (for custom post types as well). The author column doesn’t make sense on single author blogs. By removing it, you can save precious real estate and use other useful plugins like [Simply Show Ids] (https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simply-show-ids/) which will show the ID of the posts, categories, tags etc.

Delete the previous remove-author-column folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Upload the new remove-author-column folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

Just install and activate.
