此外掛是擴充 Simple LDAP Authentication 外掛 Simple LDAP Authentication 的功能。
外掛的運作方式如下：
使用者輸入的憑證會被檢查是否符合 LDAP 伺服器上提供的所有哈希類型（ssha、smd5、crypt/standart-des、crypt/enhanced、crypt/md5、crypt/blowfish、sha、clear、md5）及指定的登入資訊。
如果密碼正確：
如果使用者已經存在 WordPress 資料庫中
密碼、名字、姓氏、電子郵件會被更改為 LDAP 伺服器上的對應值。
如果 WordPress 資料庫中沒有這個使用者：
如果外掛設定了自動使用者傳輸為停用：
現有的使用者資料會被更新
如果外掛設定了自動使用者傳輸為啟用：
現有的使用者資料會被更新
會新建一個使用者，並從 LDAP 伺服器接收使用者的個人資料。
如果密碼錯誤：
顯示密碼錯誤訊息。

This plug-in extends Simple LDAP Authentication plug-in Simple LDAP Authentication.
Plug-in works as followed:
Entered credentials are checked by all hash types available on LDAP-server (ssha, smd5, crypt/standart-des, crypt/enhanced, crypt/md5, crypt/blowfish, sha, clear, md5) by specified login.
If password is correct:
If user already exist in WordPress database
Password, name, surname, e-mail are changed to those existing on LDAP-server.
If no such user is in WordPress database:
If automatic user transfer is disabled by plug-in settings:
Existing user data is updated
If automatic user transfer is enabled by plug-in settings:
Existing user data is updated
New user is created with profile received from LDAP-server.
If the password was incorrect:
Wrong password error is shown.
